ABOUT 2ND CHAPTER PHOTO
2nd Chapter brand is a company that covers many artistic genres. Stephan Hudson, the companies owner wears many hats, revealing his artistic abilities as an illustrator, graphic designer, photographer and entrepreneur. A native of East Orange, New Jersey and graduate of Rowan University, Hudson embarked on his journey of utilizing his talents by working for various freelance design companies which include Untouchable Entertainment and Devine Rhymes, as well as assisting with local and celebrity events such as the best of Both World’s after party.
Inspired by his success and notoriety as a freelancer, Hudson decided to launch 2nd Chapter Design, in 2002; a company that primarily specializes in creating materials that embodies graphic design. Under his 2nd Chapter Design Company, Hudson has been the mastermind behind a magazine cover for the celebrated QBR (the Black Book Review), and has designed book covers in which his work has been featured in several children’s titles, such as Poetry from the Masters: The Pioneers and Prayers for the Smallest Hands.
In addition to his accomplishments as a graphic designer and illustrator, Hudson established 2nd Chapter Photo in 2005. Although mirroring the 2nd Chapter Design business concept, 2nd Chapter Photo stands as its own entity and is dedicated to producing and presenting high quality photography. Hudson has photographed events such as The Harlem Book Fair, Jessica Quallis’ Beautiful Disaster Fashion Launch, weddings, and celebrity red carpet events that showcase R&B singer Brandy, Trey SongZ, and Eric Hudson.
Since 2005, 2nd Chapter Photo continues to strive to expand it's range as a photographer by consistently engaging in projects that will challenge and demand what is aesthetically pleasing to the human eye.
